Sam is a high school student who has loved poetry for as long as she can remember. She learnt about slam through one of her teachers and realised it combines her two favourite things – poetry and performance! She was incredibly grateful to share her work at the 2023 and 2024 Kirikiriroa Hamilton Poetry Slam Champs.
