About This Event

Back for a fourth year! The Wham Bam Tauranga Poetry Slam is electric, eclectic, and eloquent. Prepare yourself for three rounds of audience-judged original words from local performance poets. By the end of the night we will crown a new Tauranga Poetry Slam Champ! The winner will have the opportunity to represent Tauranga Moana at the National NZ Poetry Slam.

Poetry slams are energetic, kind, joyous spaces for poets to share their work! It’s a big silly game where the point is the poetry.

Poets – for more information about performing at a Slam or to sign up for the Slam contact the poetry slam organiser Amy on amy@motifpoetry.co.nz.

Some language may offend — 16 and over.
